Dear Russians! Dear veterans, home front workers, children of war!

On behalf of the International Inclusive Committee, please accept our most sincere and heartfelt congratulations on this great and sacred holiday – the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War!

May 9, 2025 is a special, significant date that reminds the whole world of the unparalleled feat, courage and unbending will of the Soviet people, who, at the cost of incredible efforts and colossal sacrifices, crushed Nazism, liberated Europe and saved humanity from the brown plague. Eight decades separate us from that unforgettable May of 1945, when the enemy was defeated and justice triumphed.

We, representatives of the International Inclusive Committee, deeply honor the memory of everyone who brought this day closer. We remember the heroic soldiers of the Red Army and Navy, partisans and underground fighters, selfless home front workers – men, women, old people and even children who forged the Victory in factories and fields. This Victory was achieved thanks to the unity and solidarity of people of various nationalities, religions and social classes living on the vast territory of the Soviet Union. Each made an invaluable contribution, and this contribution must be recognized and preserved in the memory of descendants.

The International Inclusive Committee particularly emphasizes the importance of preserving the historical truth about that terrible war and that Great Victory. We advocate that the memory of the feat of all participants in the anti-Hitler coalition, the victims of the Nazi genocide, the suffering of the civilian population be complete and unbiased. Inclusiveness in this context means recognizing the role and suffering of each person, regardless of their origin, social status or physical abilities, who were affected by this war. We remember those who returned from the war with injuries, but continued to live, work and rebuild the country, and those who remained disabled for life.
