Snowboard

Athletes compete on a course with terrain that includes, burns, rollers, ridges, jumps, u-tan, etc. To qualify, each athlete completes two runs on the course, with the best score determining the final order based on rise time.
Men and women participate in the final, determined by the Jury in each race.
The first place finisher in each heat advances from round to round.
Either of the two athletes whose body or snowboard crosses the finish line wins the race.

Slalom

Competitors compete on a course with sharp turns, bumps, dips and a U-shaped natural valley. All participants complete three races against the clock. The final result is determined by the best result of three time trials.

Giant slalom

Competitors complete two runs around the course and the resulting time determines the final order. The general characteristics and terrain of the route include a moderately steep slope, preferably of varying inclination, with prepared, compacted snow.

Classification

There are currently three classes.

Sport Class SB-LL1: Athletes will have significant impairment in one leg, such as an above-knee amputation, or significant combined impairment in both legs, such as significant muscle weakness or spasticity in both legs.

Sports Class SB-LL2: Athletes will have one or two legs affected with less activity limitation, such as below-knee amputation.

Sports Class SB-UL: Athletes will have upper extremity injuries.
