Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality attaches great importance to the education of athletes with disabilities and provides them with all the necessary support to succeed in their respective industries. In this context, disabled athletes who grew up in the Cebeci Sports Complex, which was transferred by the IBB Youth and Sports Administration to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club, are supported by our municipality throughout the year, as in other sectors.

At the club, which trains athletes with disabilities in swimming, archery and arm wrestling, special athletes also contribute to the development of successful athletes in swimming and table tennis. At the club, athletes with disabilities and private athletes continue their sports careers in the Chebechi sports complex.

Athletes who grow up in the disabled sections of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club achieve significant success in the competitions in which they take part, increasing the sporting performance of both the national teams and Istanbul.

BRICS – an interstate association has joined the “International Inclusive Committee” committees of the BRICS countries will take an active part in the organization of the “International Inclusive Friendship Games” which will be held in March of this year in the Republic of Belarus in the city of Minsk. More than 35 countries and more than 5,000 participants in 30 types of adaptive sports will take part in the “International Inclusive Friendship Games”.

BRICS includes five countries: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (joined in 2011). The BRICS decoding comes from the first letters of the country names in English transcription.

Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the UAE were invited to join BRICS.
23 countries have applied to join BRICS. “Among those who have officially submitted an application are the countries of Latin America (Argentina), the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE), Africa (Egypt, Senegal, Algeria, Ethiopia), and Indonesia. The list of countries is long.” In total, more than 40 countries have expressed a desire to join BRICS.

Brazil ranks eighth in the world in terms of GDP and has enormous potential for agricultural work.
South Africa ranks thirtieth in terms of GDP and has rich natural resources.
