The International Inclusive Committee took part in the most important and significant International Forum “Russia – a Sports Power”!

Our participation in this significant event confirms our commitment to the development of adaptive taekwondo and the creation of equal opportunities for all athletes.
Of course, the headliner of the International Forum “Russia – a Sports Power”! was the mascot of “FAT” of Russia Cheburashka, literally everyone wanted to take a photo with him, from a volunteer to a champion and the Governor.
The exhibition stand of “FAT” of Russia and the International Inclusive Committee was especially popular, of course, the exhibition brought us new acquaintances and expansion of the regions of presence.

The plenary session was attended by the President of the International Inclusive Committee and “FAT” of Russia Alexander Alexandrovich Smirnov and the President of “FAT” of the Republic of Belarus Pavel Gennadyevich Ivanov, the main speech at the plenary session was made by the President of the Russian Federation. V.V. Putin:
“We need to sort this out properly. There should be no so-called fees for children from low-income and large families, there can’t be any. Especially, you know, when it comes to fulfilling the standard for ranks. I’ll tell you honestly, if at the time, when I was actively involved in sports, I had to pay for everything like this, I would never have fulfilled the standard for Master of Sports of the Soviet Union in sambo and I would never have fulfilled the standard for Master of Sports of the USSR in judo. This is not such an outstanding achievement as many people in this room have. Well, something. But I would not have fulfilled such a standard if I had to pay for everything, as is the case today in some cases. In my family, there was no extra penny to pay for everything,” the Russian leader noted.

“The state program “Physical Education and Sports”, which is currently being developed, should contain not only a set of events, their financial support and quantitative indicators, the most important thing is quality, and it is measured by the health of people, their level of physical development, the more people involved in sports, the fewer people suffer, for example, from cardiovascular diseases or excess weight, diabetes, especially among children and young people. I ask the government to provide for appropriate target indicators not only in the new state program, but also in all strategic documents,” the president said.

We thank the organizers and participants for the opportunity to exchange experiences and contribute to the future of inclusive sports. Together we make sports accessible to everyone!

The International Inclusion Committee supports children with disabilities from all over the world

We live in an era when inclusion in sports is becoming an important part of public life. Every child, regardless of physical abilities, has the right to play sports and participate in the active life of society. In this context, the International Inclusion Committee is taking significant steps to support and develop adaptive sports.

Recently, the Committee carried out a charitable transfer of equipment to the State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Republic of Dagestan “Republican Center for Social and Labor Adaptation and Career Guidance named after U.M. Murtuzalieva”. As part of this initiative, specialized soccer balls and equipment for adaptive football were donated. This is not just a sum of equipment, but an opportunity for children with disabilities to discover new horizons, develop physical activity and socialization.

Equipment for adaptive football was also provided in Belarus. These projects are aimed at ensuring that as many children as possible can find their place in the world of sports, develop self-confidence and improve their health. Sport helps not only to develop physical fitness, but also to build team spirit, resolve conflicts, teach respect and interaction.

It is important to remember that sport is not only a competition, it is a way of self-expression, an opportunity to overcome stereotypes and barriers. Every child, regardless of circumstances, deserves the opportunity to do what they love and feel part of something bigger.

The International Inclusion Committee will continue to support such important initiatives, understanding that inclusion in sport is the way to create a society in which every person is valuable and important. Let’s support inclusive initiatives together and help children with disabilities find their place in the world of sport
