The project “On the same wavelength – inclusively active” (Germany)

„On the same wavelength – inclusively active“ – this young – and joint project of the Northern German Swimming Federation (SV NRW) and the Federation of Sports for the Disabled and Rehabilitation (BRSNW), which has been actively promoted for three years, can not only look back at some highlights , but at least as much is still ahead.

The ambitious goal of “On the same wavelength – inclusive activity”: to ensure the participation of 1.9 million people with disabilities living in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2,000 member associations involved in water sports.

An inclusive day of the InclUniGames project was held in Alessandria (Italy)

The Inclusive Committee of Italy held open games. Teachers, local representatives, people with disabilities, university students and managers attend an inclusion day organized by CUS Piemonte Orientale.
Second meeting at the final stage of the InclUniGames project, organized in Alessandria jointly by CUS Piemonte Orientale and CUSI Sport Inclusive and CMA, the protagonists of which are the CUS of the north. At the CUS Piemonte Orientale on Via Ennio Massobrio, 7 CUS delegations from Bergamo, Brescia, Genoa, Insubria, Eastern Piemonte, Turin and Trieste gathered, totaling more than 60 participants.

The games were opened by the mayor of the city, Giorgio Abonante, the representative of the rector, Professor Francesco Mario Cellerino, from the President of EDISU Piemonte, Alessandro Ciro Sciretti, from the coordinator of the CUSI Center for Sports Documentation Inclusive, Andrea Ippolito and the Secretary General of CUS Piemonte Orientale, Alessio Giacomini.

Alexander Smirnov presented the symbol of the “International Inclusive Games” to Prince Eduard von Anhalt, a descendant of the family of Catherine II, a German journalist, President of “Deutsche Lebensbrücke e. IN.” in Munich, a member of the board of the Almanac de Gotha in London.

On December 13 in Moscow, the results of the first International Catherine Forum were summed up: the theses formulated by its participants will be included in the resolution, which reflects the main issues associated with the realization of the unique potential of Russia as a state for a new life, open to receiving citizens of different countries, and providing the opportunity for highly qualified foreign specialists to fully realize your professional ambitions.
In general, the emotional context of the Catherine Forum, addressing its foreign participants, was very accurately conveyed by the Director of the Department of Information and Press of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova: “I know that you cannot thank for love, but with all my heart I want to do it! I know I shouldn’t thank you for love, but I want to do it with all my heart. Thank you to all of you who came to the country now, in these winter days, changing the usual climate, changing the usual schedule. Thank you who came to us, despite the threats, curses, blackmail that many of you experience.

All over the world, December 3 is celebrated as a special holiday established by the United Nations (UN) – International Day of Persons with Disabilities. It is designed to attract public attention to the problems of people with physical or mental disabilities.

At the end of the 20th century, one of the priorities of the UN was to attract public attention to the rights and problems of people with disabilities. As part of this goal, 1981 was proclaimed the International Year of Persons with Disabilities, and the period from 1983 to 1992 – the Decade of Disabled Persons.
This period ended with the creation of a special holiday. At the 47th session of the UN General Assembly, a decision was made to approve the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Since this day, member states of the organization have held educational and charitable events every year in honor of the celebration.
